Jan and Gigi know a thing or two about hard work. Gigi has been working since she graduated college at 19, while Jan did a stint as an OFW. Today, the two are busy running a successful events management company, while also managing a farm in Buda.
And for all their years of hard work, the couple plan to give themselves the ultimate reward: retiring at the age of 40.
We sat down with Jan and Gigi to learn more about their hopes and dreams, and to find out why they chose to enjoy their early retirement at Narra Park Residences, the maiden project of Nurtura Land & Home by Alsons Dev.
The couple already owns a home in another subdivision in Davao City. However, they longed for a community that offers a more peaceful and secure environment. Fortunately, the answer they were looking for was closer than they thought.
The couple, who are both 35, have first-hand knowledge of Alsons Dev’s excellent reputation, having organized several events for the real estate developer over the years.
Gigi also has many friends who are longtime residents of Ladislawa Garden Village, Las Terrazas, and Northcrest, which are communities that Alsons Dev developed under its Alsons Properties brand.
So when the developer announced that it was launching its first mid-cost project under its new Nurtura Land & Home brand, the couple jumped at the opportunity to finally own a home in an Alsons Dev community.
“We chose Nurtura because the developer is Alsons Dev. And for us, quality comes first,” said Jan.
Given the hectic nature of their business, the couple wanted to live in a community where they can decompress after a long day of managing events. As Gigi put it: “From busy ka, pag-uwi mo tahimik. Hindi ka stressed.”
As such, they are really excited about the planned recreational amenities at Narra Park Residences, such as the swimming pool and cabaña. And as lovers of nature, the couple is especially attracted to the project’s signature feature: the two sprawling 1.5-hectare parks.
To keep residents safe and to maintain the exclusivity of the subdivision, the entire community will be enclosed with a perimeter wall. The first of the two gates and guardhouses was inaugurated earlier this year.
“Mataas talaga ang expectations namin sa Alsons. But I believe na kapag sila ang developer ng subdivision, they really care about creating a sense of community,” Gigi said.
Aside from their early retirement, Jan and Gigi also have another big plan on the horizon: starting a family. This was yet another reason why they chose to invest in a two-storey home in Narra Park Residences, an asset that Jan plans to pass down to his kids one day.
Gigi echoes her husband’s sentiment, saying that a home in this community is an heirloom that becomes only more valuable as time goes by, a signature quality of communities developed by Alsons Dev.
We can’t wait to welcome Jan and Gigi to Narra Park Residences, and we wish them all the best! We are grateful for our customers’ trust in us and we remain steadfast in our commitment to building well-designed, safe, and secure communities where families can grow and prosper.
